Privacy Policy

1. The Short Version

Who Do I Call For? ("we," "us") operates whodoicallfor.com. There is nothing to sign up for here. No accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no payments, no contact form, no comment section. You read a page and you leave.

What that leaves is small and worth naming precisely: Google Analytics on page views and the server logs any host keeps. We run no database of our own, so there is nothing we store about you on our own side. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not run display advertising.

2. What We Never Collect

• Names, accounts, or passwords. There is no sign-up.
• Payment or card details. Nothing on this site is for sale to you.
• Your address, your phone number, or anything about your house.
• Form submissions. There is no form to submit.
• The content of any phone call. We never see or hear a call you place.

3. Analytics

The site loads Google Analytics 4 when an analytics measurement ID is configured, which it is in production. GA4 sets its standard cookies and collects the usual aggregate signals: pages viewed, referring URL, browser and device type, approximate location derived from IP at country or region level, and on-page events such as a click on a phone number.

You can opt out of Google Analytics everywhere by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking the script with any content blocker. Nothing on this site breaks if you do. Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

4. We Keep No Database of Our Own

This site runs no first-party database. There is no table of visitors, no store of clicks, nothing we write down and keep on our own side. When a sponsored dispatch number is clicked, that click is visible to us only as an anonymous Google Analytics event — the same analytics described above — recording which sponsored button was clicked and on which page, and nothing that identifies you.

If that ever changes — if a future arrangement requires us to log a call ourselves — this section will say so, in the same plain terms, before it does.

5. Server Logs and Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel receives and logs the technical details of each request, including your IP address, the URL requested, and your user agent. Vercel processes that as our hosting provider under its own privacy policy, and retains it on its own schedule.

We forward those request logs to TollBit through a Vercel log drain. We use it to see which AI crawlers and agents are reading the site and how often, which matters to us because machine readers are a large part of this site's audience. The forwarded logs are ordinary web server request logs and include IP addresses.

6. Email

There is deliberately no contact form. The contact page publishes one email address, read by a human. Nothing you type is captured by this site, because there is nothing here to type into.

If you email us, that message lives in an ordinary email inbox with whatever you chose to put in it, and it is kept as email is kept, for as long as the correspondence is useful. It is used to answer you and, where you have reported an error, to publish the correction. We do not add you to any list.

7. Cookies

The only cookies set here are Google Analytics 4's, described in section 3. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social media widgets that track you. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, and this site works normally without them.

8. Third-Party Services

• TollBit — crawler and AI-agent analytics, fed by the Vercel log drain

That is the complete list. If it changes, this section changes with it.

9. Sponsored Phone Numbers

Some pages may carry a clearly labeled sponsored 24/7 dispatch number operated by a pay-per-call advertising network. As of the date at the top of this page, there are none live on any page.

When one is live and you call it, the call goes to that network, not to us. Pay-per-call networks typically record or track calls for billing, under their own privacy policy, and your phone number is visible to them and to whoever they connect you with. We receive no call audio, no transcript, and no caller ID. On our side the entire record is the offer ID and page path described in section 4. Which numbers can and cannot ever be sponsored is set out in the editorial policy.

10. Where the Site Is Available

Access is geo-restricted. Requests arriving from China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran are blocked and receive a 403 response. The check uses the country code our host attaches to the request; we do not store it. This is a bot-abuse measure and it is not a judgment about anyone living in those places. Search engine and AI crawlers are always allowed through regardless of the country they crawl from, because those are the readers this site exists to be found by.

11. How Long Data Is Kept

• Analytics — retained by Google under the property's configured retention window, capped at 14 months for event-level data.
• Server logs — retained by Vercel and by TollBit under their own schedules.
• Email — kept as long as the correspondence is useful, then deleted.

12. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you
• Ask for it to be corrected or deleted
• Opt out of analytics (section 3)
• Complain to a data protection authority, if you are in the EU, EEA, or UK

In practice, the honest answer to the first one is usually "nothing," because there is no account to look up and the click rows hold no identifier. If you have emailed us, we hold that email. Write to us from the contact page and we will answer within 30 days.

13. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top changes, and it changes only when the text does. If we ever start collecting something materially different, it will be named here in plain language rather than buried in a category.
